The first step - Clean with Nikwax Tech Wash

Breathable, water-repellent clothing sweats very quickly under damp and wet conditions and gets wet from the inside. When the outer fabric absorbs water, the clothing can lose up to 70% of its breathability. The durable water-repellent properties (DWR) of the outer fabric of your jacket must therefore be maintained to ensure comfort. Nikwax Tech Wash refreshes the DWR layer and thus the breathability of your clothes.

Instructions for use: Tech Wash can be applied undiluted to stubborn stains before washing with sponge or brush. Remove all non-washable parts. Shake product well before use. Follow care instructions. Do not use conventional detergents.

Remove all detergent residue from the detergent chamber. Place garment(s) in the washing machine (maximum 2 pieces). Use 150 ml in medium hard and hard water area and 100 ml in soft water area for 1-2 parts. Wash according to care instructions.

Then impregnate with TX.Direct

Nikwax TX.Direct renews the DWR of the outer fabric of your clothing. Washing machine application ensures that the product penetrates the clothing while treating seams, seals and cords as well as the fabric. As no heat active modification is required, you save energy and protect sensitive, older clothing from heat. TX.Direct leaves a flexible, water-repellent layer on individual fibres, allowing moisture to pass through as it evaporates and thus maintains breathability.

Instructions for use: remove all non-washable parts. Shake product well before use. Follow care instructions. Do not use conventional detergents.

Remove all detergent residue from the detergent chamber. Put clean clothing in the washing machine (max. 2 pieces). Use two full lids (100 ml) per garment. Wash at 30°C synthetic cycle and gentle spin.
