Our cleaning and waterproofing system is easy to use and can be used in a washing machine, no heat activation is needed and can be applied to wet gear.

Nikwax Waterproofers are useful for everyone...
Nikwax waterproofers are useful for anyone and everyone, but in particular for those who spend long periods outdoors in wet or damp conditions. Nikwax is a favourite with mountaineers, walkers, cyclists, horse riders, motorcyclists, and anyone who works outdoors.
How to use Tech Wash
Use neat Tech Wash and a sponge, or soft nylon brush, to treat stubborn stains before washing. Remove all non-washable parts. Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Do not use detergents.
- Remove all detergent build up from the detergent dispenser.
- Place item(s) in washing machine (maximum 2 items).
- Use 150ml in medium/hard water areas and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 items.
- Wash according to care label.
How to use TX.Direct
For best results remove all non-washable parts and always clean item(s) first with Nikwax Tech Wash in a separate wash cycle. No need to dry item(s) before waterproofing.
- Remove all detergent build up from the detergent dispenser.
- Place a maximum of 2 clean garments in washing machine.
- Use 100ml per garment.
- Run 30°C synthetic cycle and slow spin.
